What is the ResourceBank?

At the heart of Imfundo’s work lies a threefold partnership - the Imfundo ResourceBank. The ResourceBank is a bank of pledges of support from businesses, academic organisations, civil society and international organisations.

Pledges might include staff time and consultancy time, e.g. to design computer networks, or provide training; equipment such as computers, routers, and printers; intellectual property, e.g. software licences; access to infrastructure in developing countries, such as telecommunications and satellite, buildings and distribution networks. This is designed to make additional resources and expertise available to enhance education in Africa, and to ensure that the activities in which Imfundo is involved are contextually relevant, appropriate and sustainable.
